For over 30 years, the town of Hazard Kentucky (one “z”) has hosted a festival called the Black Gold Festival. Then add in the wild popularity of the hit TV series, The Dukes of Hazzard and you have your self an amazing event in the right place at the right time! The year was 1981 and Boss Hogg, Daisy Duke, Cletus and Roscoe P. Coltrane came to town and made the festival a one-of-a kind event for the Dukes of Hazzard fans in the area.
